GENERAL APPLICATIONS
Solvent for polymers,e.g. in urethane,vinyl,polyester,cellulose acetate,alkyd,acrylic,epoxide and nitro-cellulose based formulations。As Methyl Proxitol Acetate contains both an ether and an ester group it possesses many properties of both classes of solvent。
Methyl Proxitol Acetate is in general a good replacement for Methyl Oxitol Acetate and Ethyl Oxitol Acetate。In some solvent mixtures reformulations may be required to achieve a performance similar to those of Oxitol Acetate based formulations。
适用于各聚合物之溶剂,包括氨基甲酸酯、乙烯基、聚脂、纤维素醋酸酯、醇酸树脂、丙烯酸树脂、环氧树脂及硝化纤维素等。丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯分子里包括醚及酯官能团,故其包括此两类溶剂之特性。
一般而言,丙二醇甲醚醋酸酯可取代乙二醇甲基及乙基醚醋酸酯作溶剂之用。在一些配方里可能需要调整溶剂配方以保持乙二醇甲基及乙基醚醋酸酯之效果。
